Center for Resource Development Studies Ltd (CRDS) is a multi-disciplinary research and consulting service providing organization. It was established initially as single ownership entity in 2004 which was subsequently incorporated as a private limited company with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh in 2009 under the companies act (act XVIII) of 1994.
CRDS, a new generation promising and rising company, has developed its institutional capacity to cater to services as required and preferred by bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies. Government is one of the major clients of the company. Bracing the notion of continuous adaptation and integration to newly emerging fields, the organization has attained the capacity to respond to growing demands of multi-disciplinary critical assignments.
CRDS is staffed by eminent, experienced and qualified professionals. It is keen on implementing the assignments and project with help of in-house professionals. Besides, CRDS maintains a computerized roster of more than 150 potential short and long-term experienced senior consultants and professionals in various disciplines with in-depth knowledge in their respective fields. They cover a wide range of disciplines and specialties that results an integrated approach to planning, particularly for projects, which have multi-disciplinary consequences

Ever since its establishment in 2004, CRDS has developed into a leading consultancy organisation providing services from the stage of conceptualisation to planning, design and operation of diverse discipline projects. Recently as CRDS has established the Climate Change Unit (CCU) which provides climatic data from its database and provides services to climate change, climate change adaption (CCA), disaster risk management (DRM) and research on climate change. Climate change is already an established fact as global temperature has been increasing steadily for the last two decades. The geographical location of Bangladesh and its terrain has subjected the country to the vulnerabilities of climate change. Consequences of such climate changes are generally identified as sea level rise, erratic precipitation regimes, higher tidal inundation, inland intrusion of saline water, seasonal drought, flash flood and cyclones evident in many areas of Bangladesh. This is a need-based demand of Bangladesh.
Since its establishment, CRDS has achieved an enviable record of success with an involvement in about 86 projects at home and abroad. The firm is registered with Asian Development Bank (CMS Number- 008628). As an independent consulting firm, CRDS has no commercial, manufacturing or contracting interest. CRDS office is located at a central location in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is well equipped and has necessary logistic facilities required for conducting any assignment at home and aboard.
